Why. When blockchain started rising in China, I was drawn to decentralization and immutability as foundational values, and wanted more Chinese communities to understand blockchain and its real-world applications.
What we built. A Chinese online forum for blockchain enthusiasts, and Lightning Bitcoin (LBTC) — a project addressing Bitcoin network congestion.
What changed. Directed the launch of core infrastructure — node wallets, mainnet explorers, developer documentation — adopted by 8,200+ active users; built 15 multilingual Telegram and WeChat communities with 12,000+ members.
What I learned. Bitcoin's value lies in trust, not speed — just as gold's value doesn't depend on transaction speed. That insight ended my interest in faster forks.
